Remove each ink cartridge by pressing the front tab, and then lifting the cartridge. With the printer on, open the ink cartridge access door, and then wait until the carriage stops. Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
